Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy is from

This Privacy Policy describes how Rising Peaks Living handles personal information collected through risingpeaksliving.com (the "Site"). Rising Peaks Living is a recovery housing operator launching in the Denver metropolitan area, Colorado.

The Site is a marketing site. It is not a resident intake portal. We do not collect or store resident records, treatment history, medical information, court information, or insurance information through this Site.

For questions about this policy, email [email protected].

2. What we collect

We collect personal information in two ways through the Site.

Information you give us. When you fill out the contact form or send us email, you choose what to share. The contact form asks for your name, the organization you are with (optional), the role you are reaching out as, your email address, and a short message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to include.

The contact form's helper text specifically asks you not to include sensitive medical or recovery details in the message field. We will cover those through a secure channel after we connect.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, basic technical information is collected automatically by the hosting infrastructure. This typically includes IP address, browser type, device type, the page you arrived from, the page you visited, and the date and time of the visit. This information is used for security, debugging, and aggregate site-traffic understanding. It is not used to identify you personally or to build a profile.

We do not currently use third-party analytics services on the Site. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated to describe the service used, the categories of data the service collects, and how to opt out.

We do not currently use advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or behavioral targeting cookies on the Site.

3. Cookies

The Site uses a minimal set of cookies to make basic functionality work. At launch, this is limited to session cookies and any cookies the WordPress platform requires for logged-in administrators (you, as a visitor, are not a logged-in administrator, so most of these will not apply to you).

If we add cookies for analytics or marketing in the future, this policy will be updated and a cookie banner will be added to the Site.

4. How we use your information

We use the information you give us to respond to your message, to follow up on a referral or family inquiry, to coordinate with a referring institution if you authorize us to, and to keep an internal record of our correspondence with you.

We use the information collected automatically to keep the Site secure and working, to fix problems, and to understand at an aggregate level how people are using the Site.

We do not use any of the information collected through the Site for marketing communications, do not sell it, and do not add you to any list. The contact form's privacy notice repeats those three commitments at the point of submission.

5. Who we share your information with

We share information only as needed to respond to you and to keep the Site running. Specifically, we may share information with:

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent personal information. We do not provide personal information to advertising networks or data brokers.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep correspondence and contact-form submissions only for as long as we need them to do the work you reached out about and for a reasonable record-keeping period after the work is complete. Records that include any sensitive content are kept for the shortest period appropriate to the purpose.

7. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we hold. No system is perfectly secure. If you have a question about how we handle a specific piece of information you have shared with us, email [email protected].

8. Your privacy rights

8.1 Colorado residents (Colorado Privacy Act)

The Colorado Privacy Act (C.R.S. §§ 6-1-1301 to 6-1-1313) gives Colorado residents specific rights with respect to their personal data. Rising Peaks Living is committed to honoring these rights. Colorado residents have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the request and enough information for us to verify your identity. We will respond within forty-five days unless an extension is permitted under the Colorado Privacy Act.

If we deny a request, you have a right to appeal. The appeal process is to reply to our denial email and ask for the appeal to be reviewed. If the appeal is denied, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General's office at coag.gov.

8.2 Other state-law privacy rights

If a state-law privacy regime applies to you, you may have rights under that regime that are similar to those described above. Email [email protected] and we will work with you to honor any such right to the extent it applies.

8.3 Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen through the Site. If you believe we have collected information from a child under thirteen, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

9. International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States. If you visit the Site from outside the United States, your information is processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your home country.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top and, when the changes are material, we will note them at the top of the policy for at least thirty days.
